Annual investments volume in our republic should reach 600-650 billion rubles in seven years - Rustem Khamitov

By 2025 the annual volume of investments in the republic should reach 600-650 billion rubles a year, according to the tasks set by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in the Address to the Federal Assembly. This was stated by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov delivering a report on the results of the Government's activities for the last year to the regional parliament.

But preliminary results of the previous year show a certain decline in investment volume compared to 2016, when this figure reached 360 billion rubles.

At the same time, the republic has become the best region for introducing models of business procedures streamlining, including by minimizing the timing of connection to engineering infrastructure networks and the most advanced investment legislation.

"This year we are obliged to achieve positive results in the investment sphere", said Rustem Khamitov. "Therefore, the most important and significant task for us is the accelerated growth of the investment process".

Addressing to the top executives of large industrial enterprises, the Head of the Region stressed the importance of ensuring a sustainable growth in investments.

"In 2025, we should reach the volume of about 600-650 billion rubles of investment per year. We should double the investment. Growth by 50-60 billion rubles should be observed every year", noted Rustem Khamitov.
