13.5 billion rubles were directed for roads repair and maintenance in Bashkiria

UFA, 22 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. In Bashkiria in the past year, the state of the road and transport infrastructure has improved significantly. More than 13.5 billion rubles of budget funds were allocated for the maintenance, repair and construction of motor roads as part of the federal project "Safe and Quality Roads", as well as taking into account the territorial orders.

"Approximately 1,200 km of regional, municipal and local roads and over 1,000 running meters of bridges are brought to the standards-compliant state", the Prime Minister Rustem Mardanov said delivering a report on the Government activities. "The share of places with high occurrence of road accidents has been reduced. The share of road accidents on regional and inter-municipal roads connected with unsatisfactory state of roads decreased from 5 to 3.8%".
