Preliminary results of rating vote on modern urban environment formation were summed up in Bashkiria

UFA, 21 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Daria Petrova/. In Bashkortostan, the preliminary results of the rating vote were summed up, which was conducted within the framework of the "Modern Urban Environment Formation" priority project. This was told by the deputy minister of housing and utility services of the republic, Alfred Zinnatullin.
Voting took place in settlements with more than 20 thousand residents on March 18, on the day of the presidential elections of Russia. There were 24 such settlements in the republic: cities and urban settlements of Ufa, Sterlitamak, Neftekamsk, Oktyabrsky, Salavat, Ishimbay, Kumertau, Uchaly, Yanaul, Belebey, Davlekanovo, Dyurtyuli, Tuymazy, Agidel, Blagoveshchensk, Birsk, Baimak, Sibai, Meleuz, Mezhgorye, Beloretsk, Priyutovo, Chishmy and Iglino.
According to Alfred Zinnatullin, 78 516 proposals were received from local residents regarding what public areas - parks, squares, avenues, embankments and pedestrian zones - should be landscaped first of all. Public commissions in the listed cities and urban settlements examined 196 public territories. As a result, up 109 of them were qualified for voting, design-projects were developed for each of them.
Total more than 988 thousand people over the age of 14 took part in the voting - this is 53.5% of all eligible residents of these cities and urban settlements. In the republic, 765 points were opened for a rating vote - next to the polling stations of the presidential elections.
All 63 municipalities of the republic participate in the implementation of the "Modern Urban Environment Formation" project in 2018. In addition to public areas, which were chosen in the rating vote, courtyard territories will be also landscaped. More than 1 billion rubles from the federal and republican budget will be directed to implement the project.
