Bashkir companies loans debt reached 684.8 billion rubles

UFA, 14 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Debt under loans granted to the economy of Bashkortostan, by February 1 this year reached 684.8 billion rubles. This is by 0.8 billion more than at the beginning of the year, the National Bank of the Republic reports.

Bashkortostan now ranks fifth in loans issued to individuals and sole traders in the banking sector of the Volga Federal District, and 15th in Russia.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, in 2017 the total volume of loans provided to the economy of the republic amounted to 842 billion rubles. This is 33% more than in 2016. The average growth in Russia was 11.4%.

At the same time, the volume of loans extended to legal entities and sole traders increased by 33% and amounted to 607 billion rubles, to individuals - also by 33% - up to 235 billion rubles.

Total 61 credit institutions operate in the territory of Bashkortostan. They include 1,029 banking units.

Bashkortostan still ranks second in the Volga Federal District and sixth in Russia by the number of banking units operating in the region.
