Agricultural cooperatives formation is actively launched in our republic - Rustem Khamitov

UFA, 14 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. In Bashkortostan, active work has been started on formation of agricultural cooperatives. The Head of the Republic, Rustem Khamitov, stated this at a plenary session of the Agro-Industrial Forum in Ufa.

According to him, the cooperation is called upon to play an important role in the development of the agro-industrial complex.

“Today we actively support this issue in the Republic of Bashkortostan; we help to form cooperatives, to acquire equipment for them. Strictly speaking, we allocate rather considerable resources - hundreds of millions of rubles", Rustem Khamitov said. “In 2018, equipment will be purchased for the processing of milk, meat, wool, berries, fruit, etc. And rural residents will be able to provide themselves with work.”

The Head of the Region stressed that for Bashkortostan the development of cooperation was especially important.

“We already have good results and we are developing quite actively in this part. There are 54 municipal unions, nine city districts in Bashkortostan Republic. Almost everywhere, the activity has started on agricultural cooperatives formation”, Rustem Khamitov noted.
