Road fund has increased three-fold in Bashkortostan - Rustem Khamitov

UFA, 12 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. The amount of funds allocated for the construction of social infrastructure - health, education, engineering networks and roads - has increased significantly in the republic. This was stated by the Head of Bashkortostan at a meeting with women - heads of enterprises and organizations of the economy and social sphere.

"Our health program will require a minimum of 12 billion rubles for the construction of new facilities in 2018-2020. Just few subjects of the Russian Federation can afford to launch such constructions independently", stressed Rustem Khamitov. "The road fund has increased from 5 - 6 billion rubles to 19 billion rubles. Over the past seven years, this amount has tripled – it is quite an awesome growth".

According to the head of the region, the expenditure part of the republican budget will retain social orientation in the coming years. At the same time, the amount of funds for the construction of new facilities, in particular schools, rehabilitation centers, polyclinics, medical and obstetrical stations, will continue to grow.

"We will direct all the resources that we have to social development. This is a large part of the republican budget spending", noted Rustem Khamitov. "At the same time, it is necessary to actively work out the options for public-private partnerships".
