Positive trends are observed in Bashkiria labor market

In Bashkortostan, following the results of 2017, positive trends were achieved in all key indicators of labor market efficiency, the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection Lenara Ivanov said at a meeting in the republican government.

According to her, the level of total unemployment decreased in the region from 5.8 to 5.6%. These are preliminary data of Rosstat.

Compared with 2016, the number of unemployed in the average annual calculation decreased by 4% - to 111.5 thousand people. The tension coefficient in the republican labor market decreased from 3.6 to 2.7.

Experts mark the same positive changes and in the registered labor market of the republic. The level of registered unemployment fell from 1.17 to 1.03%. Active interaction with enterprises, as well as economic recovery, influenced the growth in number of announced vacancies. Last year, it was received by 45,000 jobs more in the republican employment service than a year ago.

"The quality of vacancies is also improving in the region", Lenara Ivanova stated. "Compared to 2016, the number of vacancies with wages over 20 thousand rubles has grown almost in half, from 14 to 21 thousand. The average salary of job offers reaches 26.1 thousand rubles, permanent jobs - 26.6 thousand rubles. In 2016 it was 23.6 and 23.9 thousand rubles, respectively".

Due to purposeful work, out of 90,000 people applied to the employment service in search of work, more than 65 thousand people or 72.8% were employed. For comparison: this indicator is 66.8% on average in Russia, 70.5% - in the Volga Federal District.
