Bloggers and photographers have made record flight over mountainous Bashkiria

UFA, 6 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. For five hours participants of the Samrau2018 Balloon Festival flew on balloons a record 70 km above the mountainous tourist areas of Bashkortostan. Bloggers conducted live broadcasts on social networks, posted online photos and kept online using MegaFon network throughout the route.

The flight began from the tourist center of Tengri in the village of Kaga Beloretsky district and then went over the most beautiful mountain places of the Southern Urals. The most notable of these is the Great Kraka Ridge, 6 km in length, 4.5 km in width and 1008 m in height. The maximum height reached by the balloons was 2.3 km and the maximum speed made 30 km/h. The trip was completed close to the resort of Yakty-Kul (Bannoye) near the village of Salavatovo.

"The aim of the festival and the flight was to show to the greatest possible number of people the beauty of our region, its mountains and nature, attract the attention of tourists to the resorts of Yakty-Kul and Jubilee. Ballooning in this mountainous region is unusually beautiful and at the same time complicated from the point of view of piloting a thermal balloon. We managed to perform what was planned with the help of the Chairman of the Federation of Aeronautic Sports of Bashkortostan Ruslan Kilmamatov", shared the organizer of the festival Samrau2018 Salavat Nafikov.
