"Bashkir Honey" R&P Center became diploma holder of "Product of Bashkortostan" project

UFA, 6 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. The regional "Bashkir Honey" Research and Production Center became a diploma winner of the "Product of Bashkortostan" project, the press service of the State Committee RB for Trade and Consumer Protection informs.

The company has been working in the field of honey production for more than 16 years. Today the products are made under the brand name "Bashkirskaya Medovnya". The "Bashkir Honey" R&P Center pays a particular attention for corporate and VIP honey souvenirs production. Since 2002, the company has been supplying the famous Bashkir product to the International Space Station. It is important to note: the products are highly appreciated by cosmonauts and the results of the conducted studies have proved its effectiveness. Therefore, honey is included in the menu while training cosmonauts, and is also used in rehabilitation after flights.

The "Product of Bashkortostan" project has been implemented for almost five years. During this time, 318 enterprises have already become its diplomas holders, producing about six thousand products.

At the end of last year it became known that in 2021 the 47th Congress of the International Federation of Beekeeping Associations "Apimondia" will be held in the capital of Bashkiria. According to the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov, hosting such a large international forum in Bashkortostan will increase the international recognition of the republic, will promote the economic growth of the "honey" territories, development of ethno and agro-tourism, and the entire beekeeping industry of the Russian Federation.
