Bashkortostan takes first place among Russian regions in SME business activity index

Bashkortostan takes the first place among the regions of Russia in terms of the business activity index of small and medium-sized businesses. "Opora RSBI Index" is a joint study of the well-being of small and medium-sized businesses, jointly conducted by "Opora Russia" and Promsvyazbank. This project is a regular study of business trends in a segment of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

The value of the "RSBI Index" above 50 points is interpreted as business activity growth; below 50 points a decline in business activity. The index is based on the survey of SME managers and is an indicator of the economic situation, which is updated every quarter.

According to the results of this study, Bashkortostan ranks first in the business activity index - 60.7. The average Russian index of business activity is 50.5. The data was announced by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov during the Russian Industrial Forum.
