More than 2 billion rubles will be allocated for Ufa airport domestic terminal reconstruction

UFA, 1 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/. 2 billion 72 million rubles will be spent for the first stage of reconstruction of the domestic terminal of the Ufa airport. This amount of the contract was stated by the Ministry of Economic Development of Bashkortostan on the website of state procurement. Due to this, the air hub of the capital of the republic will increase its capacity from 600 to 1.2 thousand passengers per hour.

According to the published documents, the money for reconstruction will be allocated from the airport's own means, 500 million rubles will be added from the republican budget. It is also noted that the work is scheduled to be completed by December 2019.

At the meeting of the State Assembly, the Head of the Republic, Rustem Khamitov, announced that the reconstruction of terminal 1 of the Ufa airport would begin in the second quarter of 2018. This event is timed to celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Bashkiria’s formation.
