Rustem Khamitov estimated technoparks innovative potential at industrial exhibition in Ufa

UFA, 28 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. Yesterday, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov examined an exposition of specialized exhibitions ("Machine-building, Machine Tool Building", "Woodworking", "Protection Means. Occupational Safety" and "Ufa Innovation Potential" at the "VDNKh-Expo" exhibition complex in the framework of the Russian Industrial Forum.

More than 130 companies from 18 regions of Russia, as well as foreign countries, presented their services, technologies and equipment. Among them there is a leading enterprise of the republican military-industrial complex PJSC "UEC-UMPO", which presented civil engineering design, in particular, a gas turbine drive AL-31ST for gas pumping units.

A lot of attention at the exhibition is given to the activity of technoparks. Thus, the Head of the Republic discussed issues of small and medium-sized businesses interaction with defense industry enterprises with the leadership of the Aviation Technologies Technopark established on the initiative of UMPO and Ufa State Aviation Technical University.

Another example of effective cooperation between the university and industry is a Scientific and Educational Center of the Sterlitamak branch of Bashkir State University, created with participation of the Toltec Plus training center and Stankomontazh LLC. Rustem Khamitov inquired about the prospects of using the scientific potential of Bashkir State University in the development of innovative equipment.
