Bashkortostan's agricultural enterprises applied for preferential short-term loans of 6.3 billion rubles

According to the data as of February 20, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia received 245 applications from agricultural enterprises of Bashkortostan for receiving preferential short-term subsidized loans for the amount of 6.3 billion rubles. This program operates for the second year. Enterprises borrow funds at a preferential rate of 5% per annum for a number of banks, to which the state will return the shortfall in income. Compensation to banks for loans to Bashkir enterprises is 352 million rubles, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation reports.

The average amount of loans is 3-4 million rubles. Belebeevsky Dairy Plant and agricultural enterprise Bazy applied for 300 million rubles each, MTS Central - 480 million. Among the borrowers there are also peasant farms, which filed 165 applications worth 1.3 billion rubles. Most of the loans are intended for the development of crop production. Bashkortostan is one of the regions that actively use the provided state support, the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs.
