Deposits of Bashkiria population reached 364.6 billion rubles - National Bank

UFA, 20 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The volume of the republican population deposits grew by 8.2% for 2017 against the all-Russian 7.4% and reached 364.6 billion rubles, it was stated at a meeting of the National Bank RB with the heads of financial organizations.

According to experts, the interest of individuals in investing in securities is gradually increasing in the context of declining yield on deposits.

At present, Bashkiria ranks fifth in Russia in terms of number of individual investment accounts opened by the population.

An increase in attractiveness of investments in securities will be promoted by the abolition of income tax on corporate bonds from the beginning of 2018, experts believe.
