BIZNO plant plans to become fifth resident of "Belebey" PDA in Bashkiria

UFA, 19 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. The fifth resident of priority development area (PDA) may appear in Bashkir city of Belebey. On the sidelines of the Sochi Investment Forum, a tripartite agreement was signed between the Ministry of Economic Development of Bashkortostan, the administration of Belebey and the leadership of LLC Bashkir Innovation Plant of Oil and Gas Equipment. BIZNO plans to create a new production facility in the territory that provides benefits. The volume of investments is 450 million rubles, jobs to be created - 180.

There are two PDAs in the republic - in the cities of Kumertau and Belebey, their residents are 12 companies (eight and four respectively).

"Kumertau is a flagship among the single-industry towns; virtually the entire range of federal support was implemented there: subsidies from the Mono-Towns Development Fund for engineering infrastructure, for railway, for a road, for various engineering networks. The investor enterprise received a soft loan in the amount of 1 billion rubles, this was the first loan issued by the Mono-Towns Development Fund and approved by the government commission. Our republic is also actively invested in social infrastructure facilities. We believe that Kumertau has every opportunity to be withdrawn from the list of mono-towns", said the Minister of Economic Development RB Sergei Novikov in an interview with TASS.
