Russian Railways will invest more than 2.5 billion rubles in railway infrastructure modernization in Bashkiria

UFA, 16 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Daria Petrova/. In 2018, Russian Railways plans to invest more than 2.5 billion rubles in infrastructure facilities in the territory of Bashkortostan. This was stated by Rinat Fazylov, the deputy chief engineer of the Kuibyshev Railroad in the Bashkir region, at a meeting of the board of the State Committee for Transport and Road Management.
These funds will be used for the technical re-equipment of a tracking substation Glukhovskaya, catenary suspension construction at the Raevka-Aksenovo section, reconstruction of tracks on the Priyutovo-Aksakovo, Tyulma-Inzer, Ulu-Telyak-Asha and Chernikovka-Shaksha routes, the RZD press service reports. It is also planned to repair 117.4 km of tracks and modernize 54 sets of turnouts.
In 2017, more than 1.7 billion rubles were allocated to modernize the railway infrastructure in Bashkiria: 78.6 km of roads were repaired, 44 turnouts were replaced, and shadow shelters were installed at 88 landing platforms.
