Rustem Khamitov headed Bashkortostan delegation at Russian Investment Forum Sochi-2018

UFA, 15 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov headed an official delegation of our republic at the Russian Investment Forum Sochi-2018, which runs from February 15 to 16.

The Head of the Republic will take part in a plenary session of the Forum "Investing in the Regions - Investing in the Future", a meeting of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev with the heads of regions, and also will make a report on the formation of the priority development areas based on single-industry towns of the region.

Within the framework of the forum, it is planned to sign investment agreements with a number of large companies and industrial enterprises, as well as agreements on cooperation with the Russian regions and non-profit organizations.

The delegation working program includes meetings, panel discussions, participation in round tables on such key issues of social and economic development of the regions as increasing investment attractiveness of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, formation of regional budgets, public-private partnership mechanisms, and small and medium-sized enterprises support.

Within the framework of the forum, an investment exhibition will be held, where an exposition of the Republic of Bashkortostan will be presented dedicated to the event industry as a driver for the regional economy development.

The Russian Investment Forum in Sochi is a traditional platform for presenting investment and economic potential of our country. The forum is held annually with the support of the Government of Russia.

The key theme of the forum this year is "Envisioning the Future". The program is represented by three thematic clusters: "New Regional Policy: Improving Governance", "A Fresh Boost for Regional Business" and "Improving Quality of Life". Traditionally, the forum is attended by heads of federal authorities, regional leaders, representatives of major Russian companies, leading experts.
