Food prices went up in Bashkiria

UFA, 15 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Statisticians of the republic recorded another increase in prices for socially important food products.
According to the data of the selective monitoring, carrots topped the list, which cost grew by 7.5 percent per week. A kilogram of this vegetable now cost an average of almost 23 rubles for residents of Bashkiria.
Millet takes the second place, which went up by 3.6% in a week and costs about 28 rubles per kilogram.
White cabbage closes the top three with an average price of 16 rubles (+2.7 percent per week) in the republic.
The list of foods which price went up also includes: potatoes, apples, onions, frozen fish, vermicelli, flour, tea, whole sterilized milk, sunflower oil, bread and bakery products. Weekly growth for these products varies from 0.1 to 1.8 percent.
The list of products, which fell in price covers cheeses, butter, lamb, chicken, polished rice, whole pasteurized milk, pork, salt, buckwheat, sugar and eggs. For a week they became cheaper by 0.1-2.7 percent.
During this time, only the cost of beef (except for boneless meat) remained unchanged - about 303 rubles per kilogram.
