Civil products share at republican defense industry enterprises exceeded 17 percent

UFA, 14 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. In the republic, the share of civil and dual-use products exceeded 17 percent in 12 enterprises of the defense industry complex in 2017. This was reported by the Minister of Industry and Innovation Policy of Bashkortostan Alexei Karpukhin at an exit meeting of the board of the Industry Ministry.

The task to increase the volume of civil products, produced by enterprises of the defense industry, was set by the head of the country Vladimir Putin.

“You know that at the end of January, the President of the country held a meeting in Ufa on the issues of defense production diversifying. By 2030, the share of civilian products at the defense industry enterprises should reach 50 percent, Rustem Khamitov the Head of the Republic reminded.

In his turn, Aleksei Karpukhin said that the Ufa Instrument-Making Production Association is mastering avionics production for the passenger aircraft MS-21, is conducting an analysis of oil and gas market. JSC "Gidravlika" in the first quarter of 2018 plans to complete preparations for production of several plunger pumps items and pumping stations. UPPO, UAPO, Gidravlika, Molniya and KumAPP are able to diversify production provided that the output of civil aircraft is increased.
