Bashkortostan is active participant of digital economy development

Bashkortostan is an active participant of the digital economy development, the Prime Minister of the Government RB Rustem Mardanov said at the 10th Urals Forum on Information Security in the Financial Sphere that was taking place today in Abzelilovo District.

"Our task is to create in the region all conditions for projects implementation in the field of digital economy. It is important to ensure availability of high-speed Internet in all localities. By now, there are only 44 such localities in the republic, where there is no Internet", the Prime Minister said.

As Rustem Mardanov emphasized in his speech, Internet accessibility was provided in all social institutions of Bashkiria.

In addition, a special cluster has been created in the region, which "is engaged in development in this area."

Projects in the field of electronic education are successfully implemented in the republic. Bashkiria is among the best regions of the country in terms of electronic education development.
