Bashkiria will present its stand at Russian Investment Forum in Sochi

UFA, 13 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. Bashkortostan will present its stand at the Russian Investment Forum, which will be held in Sochi on February 15-16. The concept of the "Event Industry as Regional Economic Development Driver" stand was developed by the Congress Bureau of Bashkortostan.

The event will traditionally unite famous representatives of the financial and political life of the country, as well as attract foreign business leaders. The Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev will be the key participant of the event, as in previous years. The official delegation of Bashkortostan under the leadership of the head of the republic Rustem Khamitov included representatives of the government, ministries and departments of the republic.

The main program of the forum consists of three major thematic clusters - "New Regional Policy: Improving Governance", "Business in the Regions. New Impetus" and "Improving Life Quality". Traditionally, the forum will be attended by heads of federal authorities, regional leaders, as well as representatives of major Russian companies, leading experts and the media. For the first time the agenda of the Russian Investment Forum includes the regional event industry development issues and attraction of financial flows through international congress events.

The largest events of the region will be presented at the stand of the republic: the Small Business Forum of the regions of the SCO and BRICS countries, the 6th World Folklore Festival, the International MICE Business Week Ufa-2018, the Russian Oil and Gas Chemistry Forum and the 26th International Exhibition "Gas.Neft.Technologies", Agroindustrial Forum, the World Congress of Beekeepers "Apimondia".

It is expected that the Government of Bashkortostan will sign a tripartite memorandum with Vnesheconombank and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives at the Russian Investment Forum Sochi 2018.

The Bashkortostan Government considers the republican congress potential development as one of its priorities. In 2017, the republic was included in the Top-10 of the National Rating of the Event Potential of Russia, presented by the R&C Exhibition and Research Center, the press service of the Congress Bureau RB informs.
