Bashkiria increased metal products sale up to 37.6 thousand tons in January

UFA, 13 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. In January 2018 the Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant (BMK) shipped consumers 4% more metalware than in January last year. In January, BMK sold 37.6 thousand tons of metal products. The plant has increased the supply of products to electrode enterprises and companies in the oil and gas, machine-building, automotive and construction industries.

The greatest growth of sales showed welding wire for production of electrodes and low-carbon wire for reinforced concrete structures, their shipments increased by 64% and 53% respectively. The supply of wire nails grew by 48%. Sales of alloyed welding wire for deposit welding and welding of metal structures in the machine building, bridge building and automotive sectors increased by 39%. Cold-deformed fittings and wire of standard quality, which are used in the construction industry, showed an increase of 32% and 26%. Steel ropes sales for oil and gas industry increased by 16%. A small increase - 2% - was accounted for reinforcing strands for industrial and civil construction.

"Despite the seasonal factor, the capacity of the metalware market in January this year showed an increase of 5% compared to the same period last year. The BMK sales and production departments managed to respond quickly to the emerging demand having increased the sales of hardware products", commented on Viktor Kamelin, BMK General Director.
