Mortgage interest rate is decreased in Bashkiria

By January 1 of this year, the average weighted interest rate on mortgage housing loans in Russian rubles declined in Bashkortostan to 10.6 percent. A year ago this figure was 12.7 percent, the press service of the Branch - National Bank of Bashkortostan reported.

The average loan period for mortgage loans in the region amounted to 176.3 months by the beginning of this year, compared to 172.5 months as of January 1, 2017.

In January-December of the previous year, a total of 38 888 mortgage loans were issued in the republic for a total of 60 654.80 million rubles. As of January 1, 2018, indebtedness for mortgage housing loans amounted to 140 104.10 million rubles in Bashkortostan. The amount of overdue debt, compared with January last year, fell to 1 241.70 million rubles.

Nationwide, 1 086 950 mortgage loans were issued for the amount of 2 021 942.9 million rubles for 12 months of 2017. The average weighted loan term by the beginning of 2018 was 186.8 months in the country.
