Kumertau Aviation Enterprise will export seven fire-fighting helicopters

UFA, 5 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Kumertau Aviation Enterprise (KumAPP) received an order for production of seven multipurpose helicopters Ka-32A11BC, the Russian Helicopters Holding reports. At present, the first helicopter has already been assembled and prepared for transfer to the Turkish Kaan Air company, the second and third vehicles will be handed over to the customer by the end of the year. In addition, in the same year two more such helicopters will be delivered to the countries of South-East Asia.

At the end of December last year, the holding company supplied two Ka-32A11BC helicopters to China for the Qingdao Fire Department for Public Security, and this year two more helicopters will be transferred to the Chinese company United Helicopters.

As explained by the press service of the holding, the helicopter of this modification is optimal for rescuing people, extinguishing forest fires and fighting fire in high-rise buildings. For many years the helicopter has been successfully used in the fight against natural and man-made fires in different parts of the world. Ka-32A11BC is used in Russia, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, China, South Korea, Indonesia.
