Rustem Khamitov held meeting on preparations for spring field work

UFA, 2 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. Yesterday the head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov held an extended meeting devoted to the results of the agro-industrial complex for 2017, tasks for 2018 and preparations for the spring field work.

It was attended by members of the Government of the Republic, deputies of the State Assembly - Kurultay, representatives of ministries and departments, heads of municipalities, heads of enterprises and institutions.

The head of the republic instructed the heads of municipalities to hold relevant local meetings, collect information from farms on the situation in the fields, assess the condition of winter crops, make forecasts of the harvest and submit them to the Government of the Republic for the collection and elaboration of necessary decisions.

According to him, already now it is necessary to solve issues on spare parts for repair, fuel supply, quality seeds, mineral fertilizers, loans.

“I ask you, colleagues, to be guided by the real needs of the republic, the market situation. Build your plans proceeding from this,” said Rustem Khamitov. “We need modern, high-tech agribusiness, capable of successfully competing in the global market and fully ensuring domestic consumption.”
