Bashkortostan is establishing ties with Norway

UFA, 1 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. Bashkortostan is establishing ties with Norway. These days Rune Methi, the director of communications of the Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce is paying a visit to Ufa. He met with the head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the republic Sergei Novikov and business development director Innovation Norway at the embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Moscow Lyubov Bychkova.

The participants of the meeting expressed interest in working together in the petrochemical cluster, the woodworking industry sector, in the field of small shipbuilding, fish farming, crop production, healthcare, IT, establishing direct flight of Oslo-Ufa, and tourism.

The key topic of the talks was a preparation of the Norwegian business mission to the republic, which is planned for April 2018, as well as a possibility of attracting Norwegian investors to the economy of Bashkortostan.
