It is offered to involve Bashkortostan rural inhabitants in ecological and agrarian tourism

It is planned to attract residents of settlements located at the territory of the "Bashkiria" National Park and the "Shulgan-Tash" reserve to work in the sphere of ecological and agrarian tourism. As reported in the directorate, the National Park became a partner of the "We Save the Future Together" program, implemented due to a grant from the President of the Russian Federation. Training events and meetings will be held to exchange experience and will be attended by representatives of the Association of Reserves and National Parks of the North-West Federal District, including Karelian "Kostomuksha" and "Kalevala", the Kaliningrad Region Rural Tourism Association, and the national parks of the Altai Territory.

"The organizers briefed us with the positive European experience of involving the local population in the development of protected areas", Vladimir Kuznetsov, director of the Bashkiria National Park, said after the first seminar in Moscow. "We have to realize this in our park. We will train employees of the park and representatives of localities. Now the main task is to select people who are ready and able to help in the development of ecotourism".
