Increased industrial production has strengthened Bashkortostan position in Russian market

UFA, 30 January 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The increased industrial production has strengthened a position of Bashkiria in the Russian market, experts say.

According to data for January-November 2017, the republic ranks first in the country for the production of oil, which was supplied for processing; diesel fuel; soda ash; benzene; thermally polished glass; twisted wire; hydraulic and pneumatic engines; ovens and industrial chambers; truck mounted trucks; trailers and semitrailers; inflatable boats.

It also remains the only manufacturer of truck concrete pumps.

Bashkiria takes the second place among the regions of the country in terms of gasoline, xylene, styrene, ethylene, plastic and synthetic rubber production in primary forms, materials for covering floor, walls or ceiling, hydraulic lime, roofing and waterproofing materials, as well as electric lamps and bodies for motor vehicles.

Besides, Bashkiria ranks third in Russia for the production of processed milk, technical gas sulfur, helicopters, hoisting winches and hoists.

The republic is today one of the largest entities of Russia possessing a powerful industrial potential.

For 11 months of the last year, the republican industrial producers shipped goods of their own production, performed works and services for an amount exceeding 1.4 trillion rubles, or 2.6% of the Russian volume.

Bashkiria ranks 12th among the regions of the country by this indicator. According to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, the production index in 2017 was 102.3% in the republic compared with 2016, against 101.0% in the Russian Federation.
