Bashkortostan Statistics Agency counted apartments commissioned in republic in 2017

UFA, 26 January 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Daria Petrova/. According to preliminary data, in Bashkiria in 2017, 32.4 thousand apartments were put into operation, Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reports. The total area of the constructed residential real estate totaled 2460.4 thousand square meters (or 0.6 square meters per each resident of the republic), which is 8.8% less than in 2016.

Two-thirds of the residential property was built by residents of Bashkortostan at their own expense or with the use of loans: 16.7 thousand of their own homes with an area of 1665.9 thousand square meters. This indicator decreased by 8.2% compared to 2016.

Starting from 2013, the republic retains leadership in the Volga Federal District in terms of the amount of the commissioned housing and enters the Top 10 regions of Russia.
