Bashkortostan entered Top three leading regions in issued consumer loans

UFA, 25 January 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. The Republic of Bashkortostan was among the top three regions in terms of issued consumer loans. The report on the results of 2017 was compiled by the National Bureau of Credit Histories, Vesti reports.

According to the information of 4,100 lenders submitting information to the National Bureau of Credit Histories, in 2017 the number of new loans for the purchase of consumer goods reached 15.25 million, which is by 20.9% more than it was issued in 2016. Of these, 544.9 thousand were issued in Bashkortostan, which is by 23.6% more than in 2016. Bashkortostan was surpassed only by Moscow and the Krasnodar Territory in this indicator.

The study notes that the regional economy is characterized by a multi-sectoral structure with high indicators of complex development. The republic ranks first among the subjects of the Russian Federation in terms of oil refining, gasoline production, diesel fuel production, cattle livestock, milk and honey production.
