"Bashkiria" National Park was visited by 25 thousand tourists for year

UFA, 24 January 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. The "Bashkiria" National Park last year was visited by 25 thousand tourists, the department of tourism summed up the year results. This is 15% less than in 2016 due to the rainy and cold summer. Nevertheless, in spring, autumn and winter, the tourist number was more than usual. Revenues from tourism amounted to 3.6 million rubles – by 3% less than the previous figure.

Employees of the security department carried out more than 1,600 raids for a year, wrote 280 penalties for infringement, but did not establish a single case of poaching, the National Park Directorate reports.
