Bashkiria again entered Top-10 most popular regions among tourists

The "TurStat" analytical agency processed the regions' data on the tourism results during the New Year holidays and made the rating of the most popular ones. As in the last year, Bashkiria again entered the Top-10, having taken the ninth place, the State Committee for Tourism and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Bashkortostan reports.

From December 30 to January 8, more than 148 thousand people visited the places where the New Year holidays were held. The most popular events were the project "The New-Year, Amazing Bashkortostan". In Ufa free metrobuses became traditional, the special New Year's tour "Touring Ufa" showed the greatest demand.

Traditionally, tourists were attracted by ski resorts, sanatoriums, recreation centers, occupancy of which in some cases exceeded 100%. The increase in the flow to the ski resorts and sanatoriums of the republic was positively affected by a launch of the Ufa-Beloretsk high-speed train - "Legend of the Urals".
