Rustem Khamitov discussed promising investment projects with industrial companies management

UFA, 19 January 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. Today, in the Ufa Congress Hall, the Head of Bashkortostan, Rustem Khamitov, met with the heads of major enterprises of the republic. Issues of their investment activity, prospects for implementing large-scale investment projects were discussed.

“I would like, of course, to focus our attention on the issue of attracting investments, modernizing enterprises, building new production facilities, etc. We have looked through the investment programs. Unfortunately, there was a significant decline for many enterprises in 2017. We are not happy with this situation. Strictly speaking, we should check out the reasons, why there are no such results that we expected from you", Rustem Khamitov said. “At the same time we will discuss the issues of state support, if it is necessary. Let's see what can and should be done in the near future in order to rectify the situation. I would like to say that we will certainly demand changes on the part of enterprises from this point of view.”

The head of the region noted that the republic for its part was ready to provide the necessary support, including negotiations with the leadership of federal holdings, which include some enterprises.
