"Expert RA" agency confirmed Bashkortostan credit rating

UFA, 27 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. The "Expert RA" rating agency confirmed the credit rating of Bashkortostan at the level of "ruAA +", "stable" outlook. The rating assigned to the republic reflects a high level of creditworthiness, financial reliability and sustainability, the Finance Ministry RB explained.

According to experts, the regional economy is characterized by a multi-sectoral structure, has a high level of diversification and a stable tax base. A positive impact on the rating is provided by a high level of investment attractiveness and capital expenditures.

At the same time, the key factors determining the creditworthiness of the republic are high performance indicators of the budget and liquidity, as well as a low level of debt.

Currently, 13 regions and republics of the Russian Federation, including two cities (Novosibirsk and Rostov-on-Don) are assigned the credit rating by the "Expert RA" rating agency.
