Russian Government has granted Bashkiria compensation for lost crop of 2017

UFA, 20 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The Russian Government has allocated Bashkortostan 154.7 million rubles for the lost crop of 2017. According to RBC-Ufa, the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed an appropriate order. According to the document, 18 regions receive 1.4 billion rubles in compensation for the lost crop of this year.

This is the damage caused to agricultural producers by "natural emergency situations" in the summer of 2017. Bashkortostan will get 154.7 million rubles - one of the largest tranches for the regions. Only Mordovia will receive more - 283.2 million. The third place after Bashkiria went to the Kaliningrad region - 150.6 million.

The publication reports that this is the second compensation that Bashkortostan received for the lost crop this year. In August, a similar payment was received for last year's harvest.
