International MICE Business Week date is set in Ufa

UFA, 19 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In Ufa, the date of the International MICE Business Week IMBW-2018 is set. According to the decree of the Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria, an event dedicated to the development of the MICE industry (the business tourism industry) will be held from June 6 to 10, 2018.

"The International MICE Business Week is important first of all, as an opportunity to invite all the major participants of the Russian industry meetings to visit and show the republic from its best aspects - congress infrastructure, original culture, beautiful, safe nature. The forum will become a kind of professional examination for all local contractors in the field of hosting events, for all congress venues, for event companies", said Nikolai Fadeev, director of the Bashkortostan Congress Bureau.

"The idea of creating such a format of the event has appeared a rather long time ago. We have been looking for a region that could meet the requirements of the MICE industry both in terms of the quality of the congress infrastructure and in terms of new motivating ideas. The Ufa Congress Hall in the ensemble with an amphitheater and a cascade of city congress hotels, together with the rich, original cultural potential of the region, the experience of holding large congress events with international participation, make it possible to guarantee that IMBW-2018 in Ufa will become the largest and most significant the event of the year in the Russian market of the event industry", said the member of the organizing committee, the editor-in-chief of MICE&more magazine Lina Moskvina.
