Bashkiria was included in Top ranking of regions for "Safe and Quality Roads" implementation
UFA, 18 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. Bashkortostan was among the top ten leaders of the implementation of the federal priority project "Safe and Quality Roads". The republic took the eighth line of the rating, the State Committee for Transport RB reported.
The rating was presented at the 11th International Forum "Transport of Russia". 38 road agglomerations of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation assessed the work of road builders on several indicators, including the activities of project offices, quality control, public relations and press coverage.
In 2017, 1 billion rubles were allocated from the federal budget for implementation of the federal priority project "Safe and Quality Roads" in the Ufa agglomeration, 951.31 million from the republican budget, 51.87 million from the local budget.
The works were carried out at 87 sites, including 36 road sections and 51 road traffic facilities (installation of road signs, traffic lights, installation of barrier, sidewalk and pedestrian fences).
In 2018, Ufa plans to repair 51 sections of the street-road network with a length of 81 km. Works to be carried out at 16 sites of the regional and municipal roads in 2018.
