Minimum wage will be increased since January 2018

UFA, 15 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. A bill on bringing the minimum wage to the level of the subsistence minimum passed the final reading in the State Duma, «Izvestia» reports.

The minimum wage will be set at 85% of the subsistence level. Thus, the minimum wage will be 9,489 rubles. And since January 1, 2019, this indicator will be set in the amount of the subsistence minimum for the second quarter of the preceding year.

The implementation of this bill will require 4.4 billion rubles in 2018 and about 16.3 billion rubles in 2019.
