Public sector employees salaries will grow by 4% - Government of Russia

UFA, 11 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The Russian Government ordered to increase the wages of federal employees by 4% since January 1, 2018. The corresponding document is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

Federal state bodies and institutions should take measures to increase the remuneration of employees of federal state, budgetary and autonomous institutions at the expense of the federal budget. Also, the increase should concern employees of federal state bodies, civilian personnel of military units, institutions and units of federal authorities, which provide for military and equivalent service, TASS reports.

The figure is 4% higher than the inflation rate, which can be reached by the end of 2017. On November 30, the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said in an interview with Russian TV channels that by the end of the year the inflation rate would be less than 3%.
