Rosneft and Bashneft filed new lawsuit against Sistema for over 131 billion rubles

UFA, 8 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. Rosneft and Bashneft filed a lawsuit with the Arbitration Court of Bashkiria against Sistema JSFC and Sistema-Invest to recover damages by 131.6 billion rubles, TASS reports citing Rosneft.

It is noted that the amount of the claim corresponds to the amount of dividends withdrawn by the defendants from Bashneft from 2009 to 2014 in their favor, excluding the taxes paid.

The company specified that for the peaceful settlement of the dispute with Sistema JSFC, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RFPI) had been involved as an intermediary, but efforts failed to produce results.
