National Bank named sum held by Bashkiria residents in deposits

UFA, 7 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. According to the press service of the Branch - National Bank of Bashkortostan, the amount of individuals' deposits with credit institutions amounted to 347.5 billion rubles by November 1 of this year. The growth rate by the beginning of the year was 103.1 percent.

As of October 1, the republican population kept 349.8 billion rubles on bank accounts.

At the beginning of 2017 there were 337 billion rubles on the accounts of individuals in banks.

In general, in Russia, as of January 1 of this year deposits of individuals in credit institutions amounted to 24,862.3 billion rubles by the beginning of November against 24,303.4 billion.

A total of 62 credit organizations operate in the territory of Bashkortostan. This is a total of 1037 banking units. By the number of banking units operating in the region, Bashkortostan still ranks second in the Volga Federal District and sixth in Russia.
