Harmful substances emission into atmosphere is growing due to increasing production and growth in vehicles number in Bashkiria

UFA, 5 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. In Bashkiria, the amount of harmful substances emissions into the atmosphere increases due to growth in production and in number of cars, RBC-Ufa reports.
According to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology RB, the total amount of pollutant emissions into the atmosphere amounted to 918.6 thousand tons, which is 33.3 thousand tons more than a year ago. Approximately half of emissions were from industrial enterprises, the second half - from cars.
The head of the environmental department Ildar Khadyev said at the meeting of the Committee for Nature Management and Agrarian Affairs of the State Assembly RB that two more automatic air pollution control stations would appear in the region. One of them will be built in Sipailovo neighborhood in the territory of the "Kashkadan" park. The station will control emissions of UMPO, Ufa Plywood Mill, Dubitel, Ufakhimchistka, UMKK and others. The second station will be built in the city of Salavat at the expense of the city budget.
At present, there are four analytical control stations in the region: two in Ufa and two in Sterlitamak. The authorities plan to bring the number of stations to ten.
