Bashkiria awareness will give incentives for many industries development - Rustem Khamitov

UFA, 30 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Daria Petrova/. Delivering an Address to the State Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Head of the Region Rustem Khamitov touched upon the issue of raising awareness of the republic beyond its borders, including in the international arena.

"Bashkortostan has many indisputable and competitive advantages. The republic strengthens its positions among the leading industrial, scientific, educational, cultural and sports centers of the Russian Federation. It is recognized as the best congress area of the country, tens of major international and all-Russian events take place here every year. Our region is famous for its natural and historical monuments, spa resorts and tourist centers, popular brands attracting visitors from Russian regions and abroad", Rustem Khamitov said.

"It is well known in our country and abroad that Bashkortostan is not only oil rigs and Bashkir honey. It is also the best in the country mountain and aviation engineers, drilling and power engineers, the most advanced oil refining and high-quality gasoline, modern science and reliable aircraft engines. These are the leading clinics and resorts in the country, the most delicious food and many more important and remarkable things. The attractiveness of our republic should be actively enhanced. This will give additional incentives for the modernization of industry and agriculture, strengthening of sectoral clusters, scientific and university infrastructure, medical centers, cities and villages, territories for advanced development that require personnel, resources, talented youth, innovative ideas and technologies", Rustem Khamitov marked.
