Russian Railways named completion date of Ufa railway station reconstruction

UFA, 29 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Reconstruction of the railway station in Ufa will be definitely completed by the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the formation of Bashkortostan. This was told the Bashinform News Agency by the head of the Directorate of Railway Stations of JSC "Russian Railways" Vitaly Votolevsky at the 3rd Railway Congress in Moscow.

The preliminary estimated cost of the project at current prices exceeds 1,045 billion rubles.

The first stage of the reconstruction of the existing building of the Ufa railway station includes the installation of four ramps on the entrance group, toilets on each floor, including for the disabled, and the installation of a water supply and storm sewage systems.

The second stage provides for the reconstruction of the pedestrian tunnel and the passenger platform No. 2 and No. 3.

Extension of the pedestrian tunnel and construction of a new, fourth passenger platform is planned at the third stage.
