Bashkiria will present regional congress potential at business tourism exhibition in Spain

UFA, 27 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. From 28 to 30 November, the largest international forum and exhibition for the organizations of congress events IBTM World will take place in Barcelona, in the Fira exhibition complex.

This year a stand of the Russian Federation with the concept of Russia Open to the World is presented at the exhibition for the first time. The regions-leaders of the Russian hosting industry will be presented at the stand of the country: Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Tatarstan, Sverdlovsk, Tula and Kaliningrad Regions.

Bashkortostan acts as a co-exhibitor of the Russian exposition for the first time. According to the head of the delegation, the Minister of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ruslan Mirsayapov, "Invitation of Bashkortostan to the stand of Russia Open to the World is recognition of the merits of our republic in the development of the congress infrastructure, the victory of the bid for the 47th World Congress of Beekeepers and ApiExpo "Apimondia", annual holding of major congresses and forums with international participation, development of unique programs that reveal the identity and beauty of our region".

The delegation of the republic together with partners plans to hold a round table within the framework of the business program of the stand. Representatives of major Russian and foreign companies, MICE-agencies are invited to the discussion, the most pressing issues of the industry will be discussed: HR shortage and training, interaction points for all participants of the process, and an international industry event to be held in Ufa in 2018.

The concept of the republican presentation was developed by the Congress Bureau of Bashkortostan. It is based on the idea of revealing Bashkortostan not only through the classic story about competitive advantages, but also through human feelings: information about the republic is divided into several sections that answer questions what can be heard, seen, felt only in Bashkortostan.
