Industrial production grows in Bashkiria

UFA, 20 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. In October, index of industrial production in the republic was 100.4% to October of the last year. In general, in January-October this year, this figure reached 102.3% compared to the same period in 2016. Such data are given by Bashkortostan Statistics Agency.
According to statistics, from the beginning of this year, the increase in volumes was noted in the production of paper and paper products (2.3 times to January-October 2016), furniture (178.0%), other vehicles and equipment (127.5%) (119.0%), finished metal products, computers, electronic and optical products (113.7-114.7%), clothing, leather and leather goods (110.0-111.1%), textiles , motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (109.6-109.8%), other non-metallic mineral products (105.7%).
Positive trend is observed in the extraction of other minerals, production of food products, machinery and equipment, chemicals and chemical products, processing of wood (103.2-103.8% in January-October of the previous year), production of other finished products, oil products (100 , 5-100.7%).
Decrease in production of medicines and materials by 42.8% as compared to January-October 2016, production of electrical equipment, extraction of metal ores - by 9.5-10.6%, metallurgical production, production of rubber and plastic products - by 2, 6-4,7%, printing and copying - by 1,7%, extraction of crude oil and natural gas - by 0,5%.
The index of industrial production in supplying electric power, gas and steam; air conditioning was 105.5%. This figure was 105.7% in water supply, sanitation, organization of waste collection and disposal, activities for the pollution elimination.
This year, the nationwide industrial production index in January-October amounted to 101.6% to January-October last year.
In regions of the Volga Federal District, this indicator varied from 99.0% in the Udmurt Republic to 111.2% in Mordovia.
