Investment volume in fixed capital of northeastern regions of Bashkiria exceeded 20 billion rubles

UFA, 10 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. The volume of investments in the fixed capital of the north-eastern regions of Bashkortostan exceeded 20 billion rubles. These are results of the medium-term comprehensive development program for this area of the republic. The program was adopted in 2011, operated until 2015, then its implementation was extended until 2016, then for the period until 2020. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Irek Mukhametdinov told Bashinform News Agency about the results, plans and targets of the program.

"Over five years, a significant part of the activities were carried out, about 70% of the planned funds were spent - more than 20 billion rubles. A number of significant investment projects was implemented. A bottling drinking water line in the village of Novobelokatay was built, the "Ural-Tau" CJSC a meat processing plant was put into operation in the Duvan district, as well as a bottling water production was launched", Irek Mukhametdinov stated.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, an emphasis in the economic recovery of the north-eastern regions was put on small business. The territories of the region were included in a priority group with an increased co-financing ratio of municipal programs. The scale of support for five years amounted to 292 million rubles. The volume of support from budgets of all levels increased 5.4 times, while in the republic it was only three times higher. Three offices of the microfinancing institutions of small business were opened, the amount of the issued microloans exceeded 153 million rubles. More than 236 entrepreneurs of the northeast benefited from the services of the center.

During the first five-year period of the program three schools for 482 school places, six kindergartens for 839 places, three hospital buildings for 170 beds, three sports facilities were built and reconstructed. About 4.2 billion rubles were allocated for the development of transport infrastructure. More than 456 km of regional, municipal and local roads, 18 bridges and bridge crossings were built, reconstructed and repaired.

Due to the implementation of projects, the development of small business, the volume of shipped products of its own production reached 12.5 billion rubles by 2015 and increased by 2.3 times to the level of 2010. For comparison: in the republic for this period, growth was 1.6 times.

The purposeful state support of the agrarians allowed, despite the difficult climatic conditions, ensuring the industry development. The volume of agricultural products in 2006 reached 13.2 billion rubles and increased by 1.7 times compared to 2010 (1.7 times in the Republic of Belarus). Since the beginning of the implementation of program activities, more than 4,300 jobs have been created. And half of them were at the expense of small business. The unemployment rate declined from 2.18% in 2010 to 1.61% in 2015. The level of average monthly wages of employees in 2015 exceeded 20.6 thousand rubles and increased by 1.8 times compared to 2010.

For the first nine months of this year, more than 1.6 billion rubles have already been spent within the program, of which 1.4 billion – from the budget of Bashkortostan. Unfortunately, the own funds of economic entities in the cost structure are not yet high - only 156.7 million rubles.
