UFA, 9 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The Bashkortostan representatives’ visit to China as part of the Russian delegation continues. It is timed to the 60th anniversary of the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society. It includes the member of the Federation Council, the chairman of the society Dmitry Mezentsev, representatives of administrations of the Amur and Tambov regions and other officials. The Bashkir delegation was headed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Government Office of Bashkortostan Ilshat Tazhitdinov.
Thus, on the first day, a working meeting of members of the Russian delegation with the deputy chairman of the Central Committee of the People's Political Consultative Council of China, the chairman of the Society of Chinese-Russian Friendship, Mr. Chen Yuan took place. Perspective directions of Russian-Chinese cultural, social and socio-economic cooperation, including within the framework of the Volga-Yangtze project, issues of implementing joint investment projects, also in the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan, were discussed.
The key event of the next day was a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia in China, Andrei Denisov. The possibilities of implementing projects in the social sphere, in particular, in public health, were discussed. The delegation visited the editorial office of the daily Beijing newspaper “Guangming Ribao”. It includes more than 20 news bureaus in various countries of the world, including Russia (Moscow). Features of the information policy, certain aspects of coverage of key socio-economic and socio-political events, as well as the opportunities for media partnership were discussed with Chinese counterparts, the press service of the regional government reports.
Ilshat Tahitdinov held a working meeting with the Chairman of the Board of the Sichuan Environmental Protection Company "Junhe" Mr. Li Lejun. The company is an initiator of the priority investment project for the construction of a cement plant in the city of Sibai.
This significant project was started at the "Zauralye-2016" forum, where an agreement on intentions for its implementation was concluded between the Government of Bashkortostan, the Sichuan environmental protection company "Junhe" and the "Sichuan-Sibai" Industrial Park" LLC. Over 205 million US dollars will be invested in the construction of the plant, with creation of more than 200 jobs.
On the same day, negotiations were held with the permanent deputy chairman of the Board of the Silk Road Planning and Research Center, Mr. Li Xiaolin. Within the framework of the meeting, opportunities for participation in joint research on strategic and long-term issues, including in the part of strategic planning for the development of the Silk Road were considered.
Then there was a round of meetings with several dozen Chinese entrepreneurs who expressed their intention to develop joint businesses. The focus of common interests is agriculture, including greenhouse industry, agrarian products supply, IT communications.
