Unemployment rate in Russia reached annual minimum of 5.2%

UFA, 2 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. In September 2017, the unemployment rate in Russia reached an annual minimum of 5.2%, the data of the Ministry of Economic Development "Izvestia" analyzes.
"The situation in the labor market continues to support wages. The number of employed people, excluding the seasonal factor, increased by 254.4 thousand people in September, "it is said in the report.
Rosstat in its calculations indicates unemployment of 5%, which is comparable to the level of 2014. As experts have informed, the department in its calculations does not take into account seasonality, therefore the data of Ministry of Economic Development are more indicative.
"The unemployment at 5.2% is a comfortable figure for us. We do not need it to be cut, as it will demotivate to work well," expert Valery Mironov considers.
Now the unemployment rate in Russia is comparable with the developed countries. For example, in the US it is 4.3%, in the United Kingdom - 4.4%. In a number of European countries, the number of unemployed people exceeds 10%. This applies to Italy, Spain and Greece.
In Bashkiria, the employment service registers a decrease in the number of unemployed. Today in the region there are a little more than 19 thousand officially registered unemployed against 23.6 thousand at the beginning of the year.
