Rustem Khamitov signed law on increasing subsistence level of pensioners

UFA, 31 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov signed a law that establishes the size of the subsistence level of pensioners for 2018. The document is published on the republican official portal of the legal information.

According to the signed law, the amount of the subsistence minimum of a pensioner in the Republic of Bashkortostan is set at 8,320 rubles for 2018. At present, this figure is 8,015 rubles.

An increase in the amount of the subsistence minimum will entail an increase in the amount of social subsidies for those pensioners whose incomes are lower than this amount. This measure of support will affect the least socially protected categories of pensioners.
